Real voices from real conservatives about Forrest Woodwick

About Forrest Woodwick

I'm Forrest Woodwick, and for four years I've been a resource my community can count on — for my neighbors, for fellow voters, and for the volunteers who power our district.

As Chairman of Legislative District 26, I gave precinct committeemen what they needed to succeed: the knowledge, the tools, and the resources to register voters, educate voters, and elect Republicans. Under my leadership, our volunteers delivered voter guides — in English and Spanish — to an estimated 11,000 voters across LD26. That's not a slogan. That's organized work, done well.

I lead by showing up. I've worked the polls myself — as a Judge and as an Inspector across our recent elections — doing the unglamorous work that protects every vote.

I bring 35 years of experience writing, interpreting, and challenging rules at every level of government. I understand how government actually works, and I put that knowledge to work for the people around me.

And I stand firmly on my principles. I'm a Constitutional conservative and staunchly pro-life — convictions I hold as a biologist who knows life begins at conception and as a Christian who believes every life is cherished from that moment.

I build people up, I build the Party up, and I get results doing it. That's the work I'm proud of, and it's the work I intend to keep doing.

ā€œI want to express my complete and enthusiastic support for Forrest Woodwick as Precinct Committeeman in the Marlette voter precinct. As the former First Vice Chair of the AZGOP, I had the opportunity to work closely with Forrest and have seen firsthand his strong character, integrity, and dedication to Republican principles. He consistently demonstrates true Republican values and a commitment to our shared conservative agenda. I highly recommend Forrest to represent the Marlette precinct. He is exactly the kind of hardworking, principled Republican we need. Unfortunately, the current District Chair has shown himself to be a right-wing extremist whose primary focus is attacking and trying to take out solid, hardworking Republicans like Forrest, rather than working to grow the party and win elections. I strongly urge Marlette precinct voters to support Forrest Woodwick for PC.ā€

- Gina Maloney, Former AZGOP 1st Vice Chair, Former LD5 Chair

ā€œFor the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working alongside Forrest Woodwick. During that entire time, Forrest has consistently focused on what actually matters in politics: doing the work. While serving as Chairman, Forrest often had to navigate difficult circumstances within his own district. Despite facing division, personal attacks, and an environment that too often prioritized conflict over collaboration, he never lost sight of the mission. Rather than engaging in unnecessary drama, Forrest stayed focused on educating voters, gathering signatures for school board candidates, helping people understand propositions and initiatives, and supporting efforts that strengthen our communities and our party. As someone who has been trusted by my district to serve as chairman unopposed for three consecutive elections and who has been fortunate enough to help achieve results that hadn’t been accomplished in over 30 years in our area, I have had the opportunity to work with many dedicated activists and leaders. Forrest stands out among them. It is incredibly difficult to find people who are willing to put in the time, effort, and energy required to do meaningful political work. Forrest is one of those rare individuals. Even after being treated unfairly and discouraged by some within his own district, he has remained committed to advancing conservative causes and helping others succeed. I have always respected Forrest’s steady demeanor, his willingness to do the hard work, and his focus on accomplishing tangible goals rather than creating unnecessary division. He is one of the people I have been most honored to work alongside and get to know over the past six years, and I believe his dedication and service deserve far more appreciation than they have received.ā€

- Andrew Adams, Chairman, LD14

ā€œIt’s an honor to offer my insight about Forrest Woodwick, candidate for PC this election. We met in May of 2023 when I was working on a school board member recall petition. Forrest was the LD26 Republican Chairperson and a Precinct Committeeman for Marlette. Forrest is thoughtful, patient and kind. During the LD meetings I attended, he was constantly interrupted by PC Schwartz who was combative and downright rude. Forrest maintained his composure and conducted the meeting anyway. It’s because of Forrest’s leadership that my husband and I became more active by working on campaigns and registering new voters. Forrest is a true conservative patriot who spends an incredible amount of his time and energy making his community a better place. He’s certainly capable and qualified to be a PC for Marlette. Please vote for him in this election.ā€

- Susan Bidell, Business Owner, Resident of LD26

ā€œI began to attend Legislative District meetings to learn a little about how government works once I retired from teaching and had a little more time. As someone who is not a Precinct Committee person and doesn’t even live in the Marlette Precinct, I write this not to benefit myself, but to benefit you who live there. My attendance began at the end of the present LD chair who had asked Forrest to step in for him. Right away, I noticed how much more organized the meetings were, with an agenda projected on the screen and actually getting through the agenda. My hope was to hear some of the people who run for office. I made it a point to attend as many monthly meetings as possible but stopped attending when chaos returned, some speakers I wanted to hear were cancelled (not by Forrest, but by his predecessor who returned, wanting his power back). But I am still involved with the small, dedicated group pictured on the home page. Please don’t believe some of the mailers sent to you with the negative comments and names of hardworking Precinct Committee people in your area crossed out. They have hosted postcard parties, spent their own money on stamps and other things for this effort, and I have enjoyed getting to work with them and become better acquainted. Since I don’t know how to write about each person on this website, I’ll just say that it would benefit you immensely if you voted for each of them. They get the job done, and we have fun doing it together! ā€

- Lynda Sims, LD26 Volunteer

ā€œEvery cycle, people promise to "energize the base." Forrest actually does it. He's created programs that engage precinct committeemen at the ground level—education, voter registration, get-out-the-vote—and he makes each one feel like the most important job in the party, because it is. His leadership insight is rare: he sees where the work needs to happen and he gets people there. Forrest is the kind of leader who makes everyone around him more effective. The party is stronger because of him. ā€

- Candace Czarny, former LD3 Chair

ā€œForrest Woodwick is dedicated, hard working, intelligent, committed to integrity in our bylaws, our County and our State. I’ve worked side by side with Forrest and have always found him to be a consistent straight shooter, honest, fair and transparent. Forrest is countable and trustworthy. If I had to go to war, I would want him in the trenches with me. I don’t say that lightly, as there is no higher compliment when your life is at stake.ā€

- Caroline King

ā€œForrest doesn't just talk about grassroots—he builds it. His programs put PCs to work doing the real work that wins elections: educating voters, registering Republicans, and driving turnout when it counts. I've watched him turn good intentions into organized action and willing volunteers into a disciplined force. That's not common. That's leadership. If you want to see what happens when vision meets follow-through, watch what Forrest builds. ā€

- Carrie Cox, former LD3 Vice Chair

ā€œI knew Forrest when he stepped in to assume the responsibility of Chairman of LD 26. He transformed a dysfunctional LD into a thriving LD. PC's started to attend the meetings again. Forrest is a true patriot, loves this country, believes in the American dream and upholds the moral values that are the fibers of God-loving citizens.ā€
